Beautiful location and great friendly staff. Only drawback was the noise coming through the open window. Once closed barges and trains reduced to less than a murmur. More than compensated for by the beautiful views and the food. Easily the best we've eaten in Germany.
Clean pleasant rooms overlooking the Rhine River. Very nice breakfast selection which is included in the hotel price. Close by are a half dozen other hotels and restaurants and a promenade ... you can walk for many km in either direction. Nice view of castle and church steeple on opposite shore and barges passing.
The schnitzel at the restaurant is highly recommended. The portions are generous and the meat is very tender. It was one of my first experiences with German food and I quite liked it. It is more for those who like a meat-heavy meal every once in a while though. But I suppose that goes without saying.
Was here for a 3 night stop over with some friends when we toured round Germany , The owner was very nice he even asked us did we want to put our motorbikes in his garage as he had a bike of his own. It was a few years ago now but if it's the same people who it I can't thank them enough we where well looked after. Thankyou .
Nice cafe
It has been a good experience to stay in this beach hotel on the shores of Rhine River. The food is fantastic!!!!
